Lets just get this out of the way, games with multiple controls never work well with a touch interface, that said a small screen also doesn’t help.

Now that that’s out of the way lets have a look at Nexon’s offering to the iphone/ipad Maplestory: Thief Edition, well first off we can assume this will be more of these coming out (if this one does well) one can only assume that there will be an Edition for all the classes, or the 4 main ones.

So whats good and whats bad, well yes the jump and attack button are next to each other and i often find myself jumping at monsters, and the controls are quite clunky but what do you expect from a IPhone/Pad game – also as you could understand this game is quite intense on your iphones system so don’t expect to get hours out of it, and with no online or blue tooth connectivity its more of a standalone app. but putting all that stuff behind us, i have played it for a few hours now and its quite enjoyable, they game keeps it simple enough for some one that has never played before to be able to pick it up and go – but has features like scrolls to enchant your equips and is customizable enough to keep the most veteran of maplers happy with what they payed for.

So at 5.99 AUD 5 USD it seems like alot, its more then you will pay for alot of the other apps, but frankly i have played this game for about 2 hours now and im not that far in, compared to say toy robot series that are like 30 min each and 3 or so games, for $2 each i think its a good deal.
