Hey guys been a while since i talked to you, a real heart to heart – I’ve been reading a lot of my old posts and it got me reminiscing. One idea that i have always wanted to get off the ground was a news site for maple story. not like that crap Maple-news posts, real news with writers that are smart and passionate maple news was a great idea when it first went up, apart from savage’s strange affinity to My Chemical Romance, i was contracted to make videos for MNN to build up hype for the site, they started off strong but it seems that there writers do sloppy research and there articles could put my mother to sleep.

So Josh! you might say lets see you do better, wheres your maple news site. and i would reply – i cant find good writers, and i don’t want to be doing all the articles. so then came my idea to make maple story podcasts, some say this was doomed from the start, why? well if you cant find anyone to wright for you why would they talk? well sadly that fell though as well, i remember talking to spadow about it and asking if he would come on, his reply was “i don’t like podcasts” well that was crap. Although there is a small niche group that enjoy reading my blog that number is small compared to the amount that get drawn in by the latest news sites.

Take the picture to the left, the Alexa rankings for spadow’s and savages site. both dwarfing mine. what i find interesting is that spadow’s site is falling since he started talking about things other then maple. will this be his downfall?. i say no, his site does not have a large regular reader base. let me break down his site trends.

1. KMS has a new patch

2. Insonya/mazefind/spadow posts about it

3. filters down though to southperry/sleepywood/basil and ellinforest

4. wave effect takes place, with small amount of hits from people that are eager to view then a few hours/day later the the wave comes in and the rush of hits come.

wait a few months and it happens again…I think i have lost my train of thought, so i will end up here with the following..

1. How many of you think the maple news articles are crap

2. How many of you would like to read/listen to a maple story news site/podcast

So guys take it easy i’ll see you in a few days, think i will make a video, and i also need to update the equips page on the site.

So for the first time in a long time im happy with the way things are going in maple. BUT JOSH i hear you cry! there are scrolls getting glitched by hackers the economy is going to die THE MAPLE RECESSION IS UPON US!. well that does not matter for i am a happy man, i feel like i have finally accomplished something in maple i am proud of, i feel that at level 150 im on the higher end of the level scale, i love my guild and the people in it, we get along so well, and i think the alliance that we have forged with RedShift, IronArrows and Emperors is strong enough to take us to the top. i feel like we are finally getting the right people in the right spots. that said i still wouldn’t say hey mum guess what!, are you fucking kidding, silly reader you.

Account sharing makes the Nexon Panda MAD!. fair enough you know the internet is srs bsns and most of the people you meet online are out to fuck you over even if it is subconscious i dunno lets just say that the internet is host to not the most upstanding of citizens; but all bad rep aside i like to think that when you open yourself up to some one on the internet and give them responsibility they seem to wise up and become trust worthy, i trust the people on my buddy list and the people in my guild, that said i can see where Nexon is coming from on this one and i agree with it. but for fucks sake whats with the panda? i much prefer Loose’s version of it.

This is what i have been doing for the past few days, level 50 in 4 days is a new recorded for me

I Have posted my stats to give every one an idea of what i did, i have 31 base DEX, and the rest on STR – as my primary account is a bishop i have never trained a warrior before, i knew that i could keep the DEX quite low and make up for it with 100% over all DEX scrolls and thief Elixirs for acc, Vince was nice enough to lend me his Suna robe scrolled for DEX at level 48 and with Zakum helm i think i have enough acc for the moment.

Well not in Australia! but hey we can all wish for a white christmas, but since its not going to happen at lest i can have some snow on my blog! haha oh well so not much has been going on, just thought i would give you all an update, so its coming up to christmas and as i sit here typing this blog post from the couch i cant help but wish that i snowed here in Australia during christmas, see most people don’t know that Australians have christmas in the summer! so while you guys get snow we have 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) days.

Now whats going on in the world of Maplestory? well there’s the new class even, was spadows birthday the other day- (happy birthday mate) i haven’t been training for the past couple of weeks, just alot of APQ trying to get my funds up been trying to sell my dimon wand….SOME ONE BUY MY DIMON WAND!!!!. I’m also pondering if i should reset 30 AP points from LUK to INT its going to cost $310 USD that’s two months of NX :/ and to top that all off my current NX just ran out…so i think this will be a project i will attempt over a few months..also a quick question does any one know if its better to put the points on INT before i level to 142 or level then put it on…?

Ok so i will finish this post now, as im about to watch zombie land! PEACE AND LOVE!

Its been a crazy day

would be an understatement,today i achieved something i have never done before. level 110! I’m happy i finally got there, but its taken me 4 years to do it…4 years……its a bit depressing, but hey lets not dwell on the past, we look to the future in hopes that something great will happen! (or at lest that’s what i keep telling myself)

also been questing today got a whole 2%!!! from all of the magentia quests…FTW!. i wont be playing much this week not going to be home, also i apologies for lack of content and stable thought process in this post but I’m kind of all over the place… peace and love.

x2 Exp = Back to Grims for me!

So just a quickie while i wait for the Leafre boat so last night i was up at 5 am training with josh(FishieeSpear) great Dk, willing to try anything……but anyways the reason we where at Grims was that it was x2 exp and every Mapler and there dog was on playing and trying to get a hime map.

So i suggested we try Grims i mean they where great exp back when i was lvl 94 and there where no himes. so off we went to find out that GRIMS STILL FUCKING PWNT i was soloing with x4 exp for a bit and they give 12xxx exp 12k!!! that’s epic to say the lest. so josh showed up and off we went.

so that said for all priest that are looking for an alternative to Himes grims is where its @, also i know some will say BUT JOSH WITH x4 EXP YOU CAN TRAIN AT ZOMBIE LUPENS AND GET GOOD EXP and yea x4 makes things easier but grims with only x2 exp is still great so check it out
